Join expedition leader Ronnie Muhl on a guided adventure to Advanced Base Camp on the North side of Mt Everest in April 2009.

Your adventure will begin in the bustling city of Kathmandu, capital of Nepal. From there we fly to Lhasa and drive via Shigatse to Base Camp, visiting unique and wonderful sights along the way. Once in Base Camp at 5 200 metres, we will visit the renowned Rongbuk Monastery; the memorial to George L. Mallory, and take a trek up the East Rongbuk Glacier with it’s breathtaking views of the North face of Mt Everest and Pumori. For the even more adventurous, we will spend a few nights in Advanced Base Camp at 6 450 metres before heading back to Kathmandu via Nyalam, Zangmu and Kodari.

No advanced climbing skills are required, but trekking experience would be an advantage on this journey which is tailored to suit all levels of fitness.

Take advantage of this amazing opportunity at US$3 995 per person. This price excludes your flight in to Kathmandu, but includes all other flights, transport, food and permits from there.
